THE CACAPON’S AMAZING BIRDS

October 19 @ 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm

How does a Yellow-billed Cuckoo migrate annually between the Cacapon River and Colombia? Why do Canada Geese fly in formation? How does a Pileated Woodpecker avoid concussion?

Join us for a potluck dinner and interactive conversation with biologist George Constantz to talk about our local birds’ amazing adaptations.

RSVP: Please email nailes@frontiernet.net to let us know you’re coming.

Please include the number in your party, and the dish you’re sharing.

We’ll provide plates, drinks, utensils and our favorite dishes.

This is a fun, educational event for all ages.

Sponsored by the Cacapon & Lost Rivers Land Trust and the

Cacapon Watershed Collaborative (CWC)
